About the Event

Join us at the Larry Itliong Day Festival, an annual celebration honoring the life and legacy of Filipino-American labor leader Larry Itliong. Known for his pivotal role in the Delano Grape Strike, Itliong’s leadership continues to inspire generations fighting for justice, dignity, and equality in the workplace.

This vibrant community event brings together families, artists, organizers, and advocates to celebrate Filipino heritage and the enduring power of collective action. Through music, art, cultural performances, and storytelling, we reflect on the impact of the farmworker movement and its enduring influence on today’s struggles for immigrant, domestic, and worker rights.

The festival is more than a tribute — it’s a reminder that standing up for our rights and building people power can shape a better future for all.
