Learn new caregiving skills through short, practical workshops designed for caregivers.
The Caring Workforce Training Program offers FREE caregiving workshops to help caregivers strengthen their knowledge, confidence, and skills in providing quality care to older adults and people with disabilities.
You do not have to complete a long training program to participate. Our workshops are offered as short, focused learning modules, so you can choose the topics that are most relevant to your work, your clients, and the people you care for.
Workshops cover practical caregiving topics such as safe care in the home, personal care and daily living, common health conditions, dementia care, behavioral changes related to dementia, transitions and advance care, and other specialized caregiving skills.
These workshops are designed to make learning accessible to caregivers with different levels of experience. Whether you are already working as a caregiver, caring for a family member, or interested in developing caregiving skills, you can select individual workshops based on what you want to learn.
