Serve the Association of Filipino Workers
The Association of Filipino Workers was founded on September 15, 2000 on the premise that Filipinos in the Los Angeles found the need to unite to address their problems and to have a voice in the community. AFW is a membership-based entity that holds its meetings every last Friday of every month at PWC. The staff and volunteers of PWC serve the needs of the AFW whether it be immigration problems, health problems, or employment needs. By addressing the basic needs or major problems of the AFW, our fellow Filipinos can live in dignity.
