PWC Has Moved Temporarily!
PWC has just moved to a new office space temporarily whileour new building is in construction! We finally have been able to move forward with our affordable housing development at our original office site. In two years PWC will have a new building for our community center and 45 units of affordable housing! All of this has been done in partnership with Little Tokyo Service Center. They have done an incredible job! Food Distribution
Pilipino Workers Center (PWC) along with Association of Filipino Workers (AFW) and Los Angeles Workers in Action (LAWIA) provides a Community Food Pantry every Friday Saturday. PWC is an official partner with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and the USDA.
Please arrive by 7:30pm on Friday or by 2:15pm on Saturday. We are strict about these times.
Jeepney Tour
The Pilipino Workers Center'sJeepney is an original 1944 Willy's Jeepney by the Sarao Company in the Philippines. It was brought to Washington State in the 1970's by a couple who rode it around the neighborhood. Now it is here in Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles at PWC! It now gives Historic Filipinotown Mobile Tours in conjunction with PWC's youth media program, PDUB PRODUCTIONS.
