Look For Your Benefit Notice in the Mail!

As of June 10, 2011 all dues-paying members will receive notices about our Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance Benefit company, American Income Life. Automatically, as long as you are current with your dues, you will receive and increase to $3,000 coverage. You do not have to do anything for this coverage except keep your dues current.

If you would like to designate a specific beneficiary, then you can fill out the card included in the mailing and send it back in the pre-paid postage envelope. When you do this, a representative from AIL will call you to set up an appointment with you. At this appointment you will designate who you want your beneficiary to be and will also be offered a free health discount card good for discounts on prescriptions, vision and chiropractic care.

With the visit, you will also get child safety kits. AIL will also show you their other programs, but YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BUY ANYTHING! You still get the $3,000 coverage no matter what.

It does not matter what your immigration status is, as long as you are a dues-paying AFW member, you are eligible. Many unions across America offer this benefit for their union members and we are happy to be able to offer it to you. Contact Aquilina if you have any further questions (213) 250-4353.
