About Us
Pilipino Workers' Center was formed in 1997, and was established on the idea that all people and communities have rights to a healthy, dignified quality of life. PWC’s mission is to provide immediate services and resources that help meet urgent needs of low to moderate income workers and their families in the short term, and to move them to act collectively to address their own needs and issues for long-term change.

Food Distribution
Pilipino Workers Center (PWC) along with Association of Filipino Workers (AFW) and Los Angeles Workers in Action (LAWIA) provides a Community Food Pantry every Friday Saturday. PWC is an official partner with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and the USDA.
Please arrive by 7:30pm on Friday or by 2:15pm on Saturday. We are strict about these times.
Jeepney Tour
The Pilipino Workers Center'sJeepney is an original 1944 Willy's Jeepney by the Sarao Company in the Philippines. It was brought to Washington State in the 1970's by a couple who rode it around the neighborhood. Now it is here in Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles at PWC! It now gives Historic Filipinotown Mobile Tours in conjunction with PWC's youth media program, PDUB PRODUCTIONS.
