Look For Your Benefit Notice in the Mail!
This July all dues-paying members will receive notices about our Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance Benefit. Automatically, as long as you are current with your dues, you will receive $2,000 coverage. You do not have to do anything for this coverage except keep your dues current.
If you would like to increase your benefit to $10,000, then you can fill out the yellow card included in the mailing and send it back in the pre-paid postage envelope. When you do this, a representative from AIL will call you to set up an appointment with you. At this appointment you will designate who you want your beneficiary to be and will be able to get the $10,000 coverage for only $2 for the first year. The following years will only cost $4 per year. AND if you are an ACTIVE STATUS AFW Members, AFW will pay for this extra coverage.
With the visit, you will also get child safety kits and your health benefits discount card. AIL will also show you their other programs, but YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BUY ANYTHING! You still get the $2,000 coverage no matter what.
